Noveena is a very special stone material with a very special story. The owner of a factory in China found this rare, unique, raw stone on a trip to Africa, then brought it to China wanting to carve it. We were told that his master carvers spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to carve from this special-looking material. Finally, they cleverly decided on giraffes, never having carved giraffes before. But since the coloring and patterns of the Noveena stones look very much like giraffe skin, they used this stone only for carving giraffes.
